Highland Community College is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, financial security, and well-being of our employees and their families. From medical, dental, and vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas to retirement savings with KPERS, tuition assistance, and generous leave options, HCC invests in the people who make our mission possible. Employees also enjoy additional perks such as wellness center memberships, activity passes, and discounts at the HCC Cafeteria and Bookstore—all designed to promote a balanced and rewarding work experience.
For the medical, dental, & vision, I would just like it to state: "The college covers, for full-time positions, an employee only health and dental plan with BCBS KS. Employees may choose to purchase other deductible based plans at an additional charge for themselves and/or their family. Vision insurance can be purchased at an additional charge as well. Please see the benefit guide for additional details.
