HCC & Systemwide General Education

In alignment with the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) Systemwide General Education (SGE) Framework, students who satisfy requirements outlined in the seven bucket areas will be recognized as having completed the Kansas General Education Program.  This completion will be noted on the student's transcript and fulfill core course requirements for an Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Fine Arts (AFA), Associate in Science (AS), and Baccalaureate degrees from community colleges and public unversities in Kansas.
