The Highland Community College volleyball team welcomed 105 enthusiastic third through sixth graders from across Northeast Kansas to its youth volleyball skills clinic Sunday, March 9, at the HCC Wellness Center.

Led by Head Coach Andrea Keller and the HCC volleyball team, the three-hour clinic focused on fundamental skills, including setting, hitting, serving and team-building exercises. The afternoon concluded with scrimmages, allowing campers to put their newly learned skills into action.

HCC volleyball players took an active role in running drills and mentoring participants throughout the day. Each camper received a mini-volleyball and had the opportunity to collect autographs from players and coaches.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support from our community,” said Coach Keller. “Seeing so many young athletes eager to learn and grow in the sport is inspiring. The turnout was fantastic, and we can’t wait to host our next youth clinic!”
